If you sit and do nothing while time passes, you will die. If you take charge of your life and create something that will outlive you, you may live forever. Consider that we still speak of Moses, Jesus, Alexander, Plato, Columbus, Shakespeare, Washington, Jefferson, Churchill, Roosevelt. Considering the nameless billions who have gone before, we remember these and a few others (relatively speaking), because they all did something lasting during their time on earth.
