I feel your pain on this one!! I can tell you though, it would be wise to avoid answering ANY questions about avatars at all. They snuffed out the avatar games and if anything even
comes close to that they'll get ya.

They ding you for "place holding" because there are points "scammers" out there who quickly answer a question with one word or just a period so they can get in the top spot. Then they go back and take their time to write a more lengthy answer because statistically the first or first couple of answers to a question get chosen as "best answer" or voted as "best answer" more often.

If you have to go back and "edit' I've found it's better to either wait awhile or only edit a word or two very quickly. I got a violation for the same thing once and since I've done this it hasn't happened for that reason again. Too bad it gets taken so seriously in P & S. Other "specific" categories I can understand, but I wish this was one place they'd just let people have some fun and be silly. What's the harm?? How can there be a right or wrong answer to a poll or survey anyway? It's very nature call for an opinion ... and how can you violate that?

Don't let it bother you too much ... keep playing ... and avoid the "traps" that get you caught around here.

Christmas peace to you ...

No, but they removed my questions twice when they don't like them. They say "violation: not a question or answer."
It was a lie both times.

Yes it happened to me yesterday.

Violation:
(nothing at all)

Who puts such rubbish in those notices? Is it the text that is placed in that white box when someone reports you?

no, i say don't outright say "edit", just say what you would have said for the last avatar when you answered. if you have to, go back and edit after that.
