the cable unravels when i let the garage door up , how can i fix this problem.

Sounds like your springs aren't wound correctly. Unless you know anything about those springs though you should call a garage door company and have them come out and reset the springs and recalibrate them to the door for you. It will cost a little money, but those springs are under high tension and without the proper tools you can be injured or even killed trying to work on them.
