Yes.
"Edgar Cayce was an American who claimed psychic abilities. He claimed an ability to channel answers to questions on subjects such as health, astrology, reincarnation, and Atlantis while in a self-induced trance. Although Cayce lived before the emergence of the New Age movement, he remains a major influence on its teachings."

I TRULY believe that Edgar Cayce was genuine and admit that he's had a profound effect on my life from the moment I first encountered a book about his life when I was in my twenties, and even now, right up until this very moment. I am now 53 and have read MANY books about Cayce. He was an amazing man, his readings were full of wisdom and many truths. He really was actually much more than a "psychic"

The number of answerers who don't know Edgar Cayce is indicative of the educational level of answerers on 'Polls and Surveys' .
Of course I've heard of him and I think he might've been the real deal .
But now you know why many users don't take this category seriously . Youthful ignorance .

I've heard of him but I don't believe in that kind of stuff at present. BUT, if I had lived a hundred years ago I would not believed that man could fly and especially go to the moon. So, I'm open.

I am astonished that no one (it seems) has heard of probably one of THE greatest seers in history! He practically founded the new age movement.
On my bookshelf I have both "My Life As A Seer" and a "Seer out of season" he was a great medium and a natural healer.

I think he was for real.
He was able to do some amazing things & I don't believe that anyone has ever proven him to be a fraud.

Yup. And I think he was about half slight of hand and carefully planned deceit, with a few real minor abilities thrown in.
