Consecutive home sellouts for the pats: 140 going back till 1993

The 2005 season was the first season that the colts sold out all their home games in 20 years!

Not only that, but Tom Zupancic, the team's senior vp business development, told the Indianapolis Star."It's a whole different deal when you're winning...We've got a product people obviously want to see."

WHO ARE THE REAL BANDWAGONERS????

Answer Man:

Gilette Stadium in nowhere near Boston(its in foxboro,a 40-45 minute drive),well outside the metro area of boston. TheRCA dome is smack dab in the middle of indianapolis, where its easily accessible. Add that to the fact that the RCA dome is the smallest stadium in the league and it had difficulty selling out until recently, and your answer falls apart.

Thanks for your input

For the Pats Pans who have been with their team through the dark times, then nobody should call you a bandwagon fan. If you a Patriots fan who cheered till the end when they were crushed by Da Bears in the Super Bowl 20 years ago for example your a fan. If you still wore your Patriots swag after they lost to Favre and the rest of the Packers Congrats to you, you have earned the right to see the rest of us hate your team with a passion ( and hope the worst for Brady and Moss) and enjoy it. That said I live on the west coast. I have seen more Patriots fans in the past couple years then I did in 12 years of primary school. Funniest part many of these so called fans were Cowboys or Niners fans back in the early 90's so unlike the fans who have sold out Gillette Stadium since 93 these people make me sick.

"Plus, in the 90's I knew 0 pats fans. Now all of a sudden you exist?" Judging by how immature you sound, you probably weren't even alive in 1990 "Anthony Smith gauranteed victory, thats a method of getting pumped and I think every player should believe they will win" You mean to tell me that if it was Tom Brady that guarenteed a win, you would just brush it off as hype? Guaranteeing (i kno I spelled that rong) a win in a slap in the face against the other team, im sorry but thats not a classy thing to say. Its not about hype, its about disrespecting the other team, before they even get a chance to prove themselves on the field! At least when the pats run up the score, they have proved themselves. What have the steelers proven? They almost lose to a winless dolphins and lost to the 2nd worst team in the AFC (jets). Guaranteeing that win was a complete boneheaded move, and the entire steelers team is gonna pay for it come sunday.

What do Patriot fans have against the Colts fans?...

Colts fans don't constantly find intricate and useless arguments about the Pats 24/7...So what, if you haven't noticed it's not just the Colts fans who are laughing at the bandwagoners in Boston, it's the all the non-Boston fans of the NBA, MLB, and NFL...

140 sellouts going back to 1993? That IS impressive considering that the Boston metro population is almost 3 times that of Indianapolis area. WIth that many "fans" in the area how have the Pats not sold out every game since their existence?

Who are the real bandwagoners? I think you have inadvertently answered your own question.

Edit: Yeah...ummmm....how old are you again? Do you even know what METROPOLITAN area means? Obviously not or you would not have just embarrassed yourself AGAIN.

Edit: It is not MY definition at all:

I've never called you guys bandwagoners, but I do believe that a large majority of Pats fans on YA are arrogant *ssholes (kinda like your head coach!). Only a few are alright.

I dislike the Cowboys and Steelers as well, but their fans are about 5 orders of magnitude less annoying.

Your right, Colts fans didn't even attend their home games until they started winning

....But the new generation of Pats fans ONLY on their bandwagon because their winning......when the Pats go in a rebuilding stage only the real fans will be left.

In this game its very hard to tell which are the real fans from those that are bandwagon fans. And this is applicable to all teams. For example, anyone who is a Miami fan, or a Raiders fan or even a lowly Jets fan, I consider to be the real true elite fans of the sport. Those fans get my highest respect, regardless of the team they are fans of. Even Jets fans. The same for Falcons, Rams or 49'ers. Those people that remain true to their teams are the measure of true fans. MY hat goes off to them. The bandwagon fans suck regardless of what team they jumped in too cheer.

Go Patriots since 1980.

I question the sellout stat considering I watched the Pats and Jets game and remember seeing the stadium half empty at least but maybe I just remember it wrong.

NO idea.. boston was an original AFL franchise and the fans have lived long time with harship and some good teams
no bnadwagons on the core fans.

All teams have bandwagoners regardless of success and whatnot.

Just ignore those lousy Colts fans who wish to bash your Patriots' allegiance.
