What do you think about this:
My dad once told me that when his older brother was in his mom's stomach he would talk. He would literally say words while in the womb meaning that he wasn't born yet. My dad's mom got scared and she told my dad's grandpa. My grandpa then said that she shouldn't have told him because the baby talking meant that he was going to grow up with the ability to see and predict the future. Now that the mom told someone, the baby lost that gift. My dad said it was true because his dad told it to him.
Does anybody have a similar story to this or any information on things like this?

When an infant is in the womb its vocal cords do not work because they are surrounded by fluid (amniotic fluid) Babies do practice breath when they are still in the womb so if you see it opening and closing its mouth on an ultrasound that is what it is. So, no, it is not true.

It isn't true. Maybe they told him that as a fun story and forgot to tell him it wasn't true LOL
Think about it... even if it were possible, the baby is in WATER. You wouldn't hear words anyway :-)

Never heard of that before, but that is very interesting. I don't know about it all, but that is a very interesting thing to read on Yahoo! Answers.

Whole lotta crazy going on in that one....well, perhaps crazy is unfair, old wives' tales is more accurate but silly and untrue either way.
