It shouldn't. If you start having other symptoms, however, see your doctor ASAP.

Falling on your butt would do more damage to your hips and spine than to the baby. It is very well protected.

I fell face forward onto a gravel road when I was 4 months along, landing on my tummy. I was winded and scared.

No worries. I did visit the doctor for a check up, and he told me to take it a bit easier for a few days but that was all.

I had a healthy baby son with no problems at all, at full term.

That was me, and everybody is different,

so if you find yourself spotting - go to the doctor.

If you are feeling scared or worried, go see the doctor and explain your fears, you will be re-assured by the doctor if all is well and if by some strange chance all is not well, you can get help straight away to fix it.

I'd say you are a first time mum to be. This can be a very scary time but all you need to do, is remember the baby is very well protected from normal every day activities and also from several not so usual or normal activities and accidents.

As you have more children, your knowledge will improve, your fears will be less and your understanding of your body and the way it feels will increase.

I guess the bottom line is - everything should be OK but it's your body and your baby - if in doubt - check it out.

Good luck and happy and safe birthing when the time comes.

Almost definently not. You're fine. Remember that your baby is very tiny, depending on how far along anywhere from teh size of a grain of rice to the size of a cherry. The baby is fine.

No it can't, they're well protected in the womb and amniotic fluid. Don't worry, you and your baby will be fine (you can't knock a good baby loose until they're ready).

No. Your baby is in your belly, no cause for concern. But it's good that you are concerned,... you are a good mommy. Enjoy your pregnancy, CONGRATULATIONS!!

As long as you don't notice any cramping or spotting you should be fine.
