My other Xbox 360 games make a moderate amount of noise when in my Xbox, but my halo3 disc makes more noise than the rest, i think it wobbles inside the drive and it might damage my xbox drive in the long run. Any thoughts? Recommendations?

If your game is not skipping or locking up you can be fairly certain that your disc is not wobbling inside the drive.

Although your disc isn't wobbling, loud noises may be a sign of problems to come. It may work well right now, but if you start having disc read issues, be prepared to call 1-800-4-MYXBOX and initiate the repair process. Don't worry, it's usually taken care of very quickly.

Since a Xbox 360 disc contains more information than the previous, the Xbox will spin it faster. I think it's the noise that you're hearing.

I'd bring it back to the store or call the manafacture for there is a problem with the lense. Do it before your disc get scratched.
