Obviously, I love comedies! Sadly, so many "comedy" stars today aren't funny. You won't find Will Ferrell, Steve Carell and others on my list of funny films.

Some classic comedies that always crack me up are Dumb and Dumber, The Austin Powers series, There's Something About Mary, The National Lampoon's Vacation series of movies, Nine Months, Mrs Doubtfire, Uncle Buck, any Jim Carrey comedy, Adam Sandler comedies, and many more as well...

I guess I'm going to show my age here with this answer. I don't like a lot of the new "comedians" that think they are funny.

I will sit and watch any Abbot and Costello movie any time I get the chance. I aways liked Amos and Andy and the Marx brothers. Most any of the original "Our Gang" movies as well.

They just don't make comedians like that any more.

Good luck.

Any Laurel and Hardy, any Mr. Bean, Animal House, Tommy Boy, American Graffiti, Dazed and Confused.

I think it's because the comedy is so good and universal that it just never gets old.
