Knowing how to say 'enough'... it's kind of like knowing the difference between 'hungry' and 'not hungry' for overweight people. As a society, the western consumer culture can't say "I'm full".

Peace

I suppose after you get over your consumer addictions, then money can bring happiness if you use a lot of it to develop something really useful or help with charity work that is worthwhile. I've heard people say that Bill Gates is the Devil, but I am sure he gets a lot of satisfaction from establishing a charity that is working on HIV in Africa. If you go to the Metropolitan Museum in New York and see the billion dollars worth of art that the Annenbergs gave that museum, you can be sure it gave Walter Annenberg great pleasure.
Just having money can't guarantee happiness, or even health and comfort, and often it works against them. It would be what you did with your money to make the world a better place that counts. At least that is my opinion.

A person can have a lot of money and be happy, or they can be materialistic. Same with a poor person, they can live modestly and be happy, or spend their life trying to get rich. Being comfortable i think is being satisfied with what you have.

Being able to live within my means and not have to worry about money, not living paycheck to paycheck.
