I would like to connect 2 fluorescent 8" circular round bulbs, or 2 12" sticks and 2 computer fans to 1 AC power source. These items will be installed in a cabinet. What additional hardware will I need to purchase to connect these 4 items to 1 AC power source?

very much depends on how you are going to connect them. if your going to tie in to a breaker, just push all the necessary wires behind the lug. If your going to plug them in juct get you a surge protector multi plug. Or if your wanting to tie them together and then leave with only one wire then you will need a junction box to tie all your wires together then leave out of it with one wire. If your wires already have plugs, I suggest the surge protector. If you use a junction box, go to a hardware store and select one that will work for your application. Ask a store rep about it. Add up all the amps you will be pullingfrom your equipment and make sure that your plug wire will be big enough to handle the load

First, make sure those 'computer fans` are
120V. units. - (A lot of them aren't.)
Second, you don't just connect fluoresent lamps
to 120V. power. - They require ballasts.
You would be better off purchasing small fixtures
such as those sold for 'under-counter` lighting.
Third, if you plan to install any electrical devices
in a cabinet, you should make provision for cooling.
Since there are fans involved this won't be hard,
just be sure there's some flow around the fixtures.
You probably want to switch those fixtures so that
they'll be off when you close the cabinet.

You can purchase 12vdc fans at Radio Shack as well as the modular power packs to power them. Be sure that the power pack(s) you use have enough current(amps) capacity for all your fans with a bit to spare. Connect the power pack(s) to a "switched" AC outlet on the back of your sound system if available. This way the fans only run when your system is "on". Good luck

Just rub the wiring through a switch for each item unless it will all run together should work fine

if its on a 20 amp service add all the amps up that each thing uses, or plug all of them in to 1 outlet if it kicks the breaker its too much,
