Scrape them off my shoe and keep on walking!
ADDENDUM:-
If you are in UK, it is a criminal offence to use a telephone or other communications device for the purpose of intimidation.
If you know who the person is, or if their phone number appears with the text message, you should report the incident to the police. Do not delete or alter any of the messages, and make sure that you show the original messages to the police.
If you are genuinely receiving these messages, there is a legal remedy. First and easiest; the police will issue a verbal, and, or, written warning to the offender. Next; if the messages persist, the police can arrest the offender, who can then be charged with the offence of "intentional harassment" That should stop him in his tracks. Finally; prosecute the offender. If you have evidence to corroborate your claim (the text messages) you should have every success in court. In any event, speak to a solicitor (lawyer) or other qualified legal adviser on how to proceed. You can get 30 minutes of free legal advice with a solicitor - enough time to figure out if it's a viable case.
Above all else, DO NOT IGNORE THE PROBLEM. Failure to act will embolden the offender, and the problem will only get worse.

Contact the phone network. Get the caller, contact his network provider, let them know of the issue. You might find there is a clause in the providers contract that could lead to him having to answer some awkward questions.
There might be some pleasure in letting it continue as it doesn't cost you any money, and the caller is paying the cost of the text message... Let it slide but delete it.

I've always had much bigger friends in high school - an all-state linebacker cousin, our school's heavyweight wrestler, and a 1%'er motorcycle friend who liked to break people's arches with his motorcycle boots. People learned not to mess with me - often comically. And, I was real good with a baseball bat.
Violence can be fun. But that was long before lawsuits and all that stuff. Be sneaky, but crush the MF. Then you own him.

Ignore him, it always gets people annoyed when you never answer. If he wants to spend his money that way well more fool him. Change your mobile number by getting a free sim which you can order online.

Go to your local courthouse a file for a protection order. Then, if he violates it he goes to jail.
