its been ok, but typical holliday around our house. my girl is ticked and under pressure, very tired and overall not in the holliday spirit. i have gone to the airport 3 times today and still have to go 2 more. the last of our family flying in got delayed, canceled, rescheduled and again delayed and they wont arrive until 11:54 pm. so now the ham and turkey and all i have been waiting for will not hit the table until 1:30 am. i stopped at the casino and my brother in law and i had a prime rib buffet on the way home and my girl found out and got even more ticked. the kids are pissed becuase i wont let them open any presents until the whole family is here. last night i drank most of the beer and soda while pacing through the kitchen and now there are no stores open, again my girl is ticked. its snowing like crazy and there is no football on and im bored and trapped in a house full of people and i cant seem to keep up with the demand for baileys and coffee. anyway thats whats going on over here in Oregon. lol.

Christmas eve i had a bad toothache, took a strong pain killer and went to bed but woke up at 2.00am and my hubbie was snoring like a pneumatic drill. After that i couldn't sleep with him snoring. Come Christmas day, eyes bleary and half a sleep the children(adults) opened their presents and after preparing dinner. Went to bed at 4.00pm and woke up at 9.30pm. Still tired but have took a sleeping pill and i'm now waiting for it to take affect. Next Christmas i'm definitely taking a sleeping pill early as i want to be refreshed.

I snapped at my mother and my daughter today, its been tough, four generations, to much of everything, plus a stonking head cold, so yes, I have had a truly BAD day!
Role on normality, lets get this damned holiday over !

No nothing went wrong. Had a very nice day everyone and dinner was on time and perfect. I can't tell you what happened last year but the words dinner and bedtime wouldn't be incompatible.

In one way It was a good day because my four children all enjoyed themselves and were happy. But it is the first christmas after my dad died and myself and my mum found it hard
