If you mean public holidays like Christmas Day, Australia has Christmas day, Boxing Day, New Years Day, Australia Day (January 26), Good Friday, Easter Monday, ANZAC day (April 25), Queen's Birthday (Monday after the first weekend in June) and Labour Day, first weekend in October. There is some variation with the Queen's Birthday and Labour Day and there are a few other days that different States use. Melbourne has Melbourne Cup Day on the first Tuesday in November. Sometimes the USA celebrates Melbourne Cup Day by having elections.
