I have no excuse for being aloof.

a guy said it to me and not sure what he means by it. thanks!

It means he looks down on every one and sees no reason to apologize for it. Ya know, one of those guys, even his friends don't like him.

He just means that that is the way he is - aloof. In other words, he isn't mister congenialtiy and takes a while to get to know people and to feel at ease with them.

He's saying "I have no excuse for been at a distance". if he knew what he was saying.

Depending on the interpreter, it means 'I have no good reason for being reserved, thinking I'm superior, or 'keeping my distance' from you or others.'

I wonder if the guy was saying that YOU, the girl, have no reason to be aloof - meaning that he considers you standoffish, and in his opinion, you have no reason to be thus. Eh? Were you acting uppity? or "hard to please" or something. . .
