Tell her that EDs are nothing to joke about
Ignore her if she continues.. you don't have to prove anything to her if you're just staying for a little while.
But you might want to go to a doctor anyway.. your weight doesn't sound healthy.

No offense honey, but your step mom might be fueled by real reasons other than her jealousy that you weigh less than her children half your age. You said you are 4 foot 5 and 45 pounds. That means your BMI is 11.3. That is about 20 pounds underweight. You should probably talk to your doctor about that, and make a conscious effort to put on a little weight, as long as he or she approves it. Just tell her this the next time she complains. You are not anorexic, and you are not bulimic. If you are underweight, it is because of the way your body processes food, and you can't stop it. If she wants to help you, then she should take you to a doctor to see why you cannot put on weight even though you lead a healthy lifestyle.

Hun, for your height you are on the thin size. You should be around 100 lbs by now.
If you're eating and not purging after, then have your dad talk to your pediatrician. There are charts for ideal weight for young kids from 2 years to 20 years. They can tell you what to eat for the best development for your age.
If you're under a lot of stress, that may make you thin. Also, genetics has a lot to do with development. If your mom and dad are both small and thin, you're unlikely to be overweight. I hope your stepmom will ease up on calling you anorexic. Even if you were, it certainly won't help.
I think you're under a lot of stress (and being 13 makes it a 100 times worse....ask any older teen or early 20's woman, it's like a crazy rollercoaster ride of emotions) If you do have a body image disorder, your doctor can help. It's a tough one to treat, but if it's caught early it's easier. I hope things go better for you
Hugs

I checked your BMI (Body Mass Index) using the information you provided. Your BMI is 11.3, which puts you in the fifth percentile. That means you are underweight. While you may not be anorexic, the heathy minimum for your age and height is 63 pounds. You should talk to your dad. Have him explain to your step mom that you aren't anorexic, and possibly have him take you to the doctor. You should see about getting weight gain supplements. You may not be worried about it, but it's best for your heath if you get checked out.
As for your step mom and her snarky comments, ask your dad if he can have her lay off. I have a step mother I despise. I know it's not right, but I don't allow her to give me rules or instructions, that's the parent's fault. Your step mom is not your parent. Your dad probably, or should want you to be happy, and he may not be aware of how bad the situation acutally is. Tell him you want to get along, and be respectful to everyone, but your step mom is making it hard by accusing you of untrue things.
I know it may be hard, and I hope it all works out for you, becasuse step parent situations have a tendency to not be fun. I wish you luck and all the best,
Kelsey

Well I do have to say that if you are only 45 lbs that is pretty small for someone your age- considering my 6 yr old weighs more, but if you are not then talk to her and open up with her. You might just be a very small framed girl and she needs to understand that you are NOT her kids and you are not going to be built the same way.

Well, show her on a BMI calculator, if this doesn't convince her then tell her to take you to the doctor to get it checked out to prove that you're not anorexic. If this doesn't work then email her info about anorexia because she obviously doesn't know what it is. As for your step sisters, just try to ignore them for the time being and then if that doesn't work talk to your step mum about it. Good luck and merry Christmas!

Whilst I can't work out stone vs pounds ( I know 16 = 1), you sound very small for your age.
You may have FAT potential stepsisters,
but I THINK YOU ARE UNDERWEIGHT for your age and need to deal with that issue first.
Being too thin is almost as bad as being too large, though I also know you have another issue with a new family in general.
Bless You.

If you are 13 and 45 pounds, I'd sure have you checked out by a doctor. I think your stepmom is concerned. I certainly would be.
Personally, your Dad should take you to a physician, if you haven't been to one recently, to determine if your size is normal. That would allay their concerns.

Throwing up after eating is bulemia....but anyways....just ignore her....it doesn't matter what she thinks as long as you're not anorexic. If you're going home in mid-January you only have a couple weeks left to tough it out and deal...there's nothing she can do to you besides tell you what she thinks...
