On September 12, 2006, Kukoč intimated that he would retire from professional basketball if he could not be signed by either the Milwaukee Bucks or the Chicago Bulls for the 2006-07 NBA season. Although various NBA teams have shown interest in his services, Kukoč has expressed a desire to be close to his hometown of Highland Park, in Illinois.

The now 39-year-old Croatian Sensation was last known to be living in Highland Park, Illinois with his wife and two kids and playing golf for fun and charity events in retirement.

He is pretty much retired now, in fact he is some much retired, you hardly ever hear anything out of him, I forgot that he was around until this post. He is doing whatever he likes now thtq he is retired, and he seems to like being out of the spotlight, but it mayne not, or at least I hope not, that the next time we hear of him, it is not because of his death. Which often seems to be the case with people that have retired from the public eye.

He retired. The last team he played for was for the Bucks in 04'-05'. I don't know what he's doing right now but he's faded into oblivion.
