Should Jamie Lynn lose her job?

My question isn't are you surprised by pregnant at 16? Hollywood doesn't surprise me anymore.

But should Nickelodeon continue with Jamie Lynn Spears on her high profile tweens show Zoey 101?

Zoey's parents come for an unexpected visit to P.C.A to tell Zoey they're moving to London, England and they want her and Dustin to go to England with them. Stacey overhears Zoey telling Michael, Logan, Lola and Quinn and tells P.C.A. news reporter Jeremiah Trottman who tells everyone else on campus. But, Chase is mad when he is the last to find out when people are coming up to him asking him how he feels about Zoey moving. He is then angry and tells Zoey she can go when she asks for his opinion. She tells her parents she'll go to London with them, but Dustin declines the offer. At the end part one Chase realizes what a jerk he had been not saying goodbye to Zoey but he's too late

Chase and Zoey finally talk after she left for England-via webcam. Zoey says she is going to stay in England. Chase hangs out with a disgusting girl named Gretchen, because she looks like Zoey. Logan and Michael try to get Chase to admit he misses Zoey . Meanwhile Lola and Quinn are terrified when Stacey becomes their new roomate. Then Chase admits something shocking to Michael and Logan.

(I believe these two episodes are already taped and the 4th season is already taped)

I think they should. I do like the show, but it seemed like it wasn't going to last too long anyways. People make mistakes. Just because they're celebrities or teenagers doesn't mean it should be all blown out of proportion. There are many pregnant teens out there, and no one is doing a damn thing about it until now. It's kind of a wake up call, and besides, atleast Jamie isn't getting an abortion. She's being responsible and she would get a lot more hell if she did.

I think she should. I had to roll my eyes after I read what she said when it was announced. She said yes I would hope kids would wait until they are married, but I didn't, so how could I judge? What I don't understand is....with all of the scandal with Britney, why didn't the mother put Jamie Lynn on birth control. After all, she and her boyfriend had been dating for years.

Well, Nickelodeon is a kids channel and they don't hire pregnant people so why should Jamie be an acception. It was on the news that her show might be cancelled.

If a 16 year old male star of a Nickelodeon show were to get someone pregnant, he wouldn't be kicked off the show. No, she shouldn't lose her job; this should be used as sex ed for the viewers. I'm sure the kids in her following are already well aware of her preganancy. What message would it send to them to see that she's censored, fired, shamed, etc.?

it was the last season; she's already made her money, and omg, quit acting like this child was anyone's role model. she was/is an ACTRESS! anyone that looks up to hollywood for a good example of what to be is insane. also, she's not the first teen to become pregnant at that age, in hollywood. the Whale Rider grrl did, and she's now married (i think) to the baby daddy...not as much as a furor over her baby bump...hmmm...

Nobody wants to see a 16 year old girl with a baby bump who cant wear sweater cause shes a girly girl on Zoey 101..its sad..but her boyfriend is a good guy according to his previous teachers...go to www.people.com
