can i deposit a postal money order into my bank account or do i have to go to a post office to cash it?

its not alot, just a $20 postal money order sent to me in a christmas card.

Yes you can deposit it, or cash it at your bank. Or go to the post office and cash it there.

It's just like a check. You can deposit it into your bank account if you like.
