This Christmas I was very disappointed with my gifts. Does this make me a spoiled brat?
Gifts:
-Ed Hardy shirt
-8 Abercrombie things
-3 AE things
-Northface vest
-real diamond earrings
-some chocolate and gum
-perfume/ lotion
-2 pairs of PJs
-some quilksilver stickers (kinda cheap)
- a book (which i've already read actually good book its called "Wicked Lovely," or something like that)
-lipgloss
-pair of AE flats/ and some arie stuff
What I REALLY wanted for Christmas was a new pair of Uggs which I didn't get. I don't want to say anything to make my parents sad, but I REALLY wanted it.... and I didn't get it.

ok for everyone saying she is super spoiled, she didn't cry and throw a fit like a spoiled person would do. you know all of you are the same way when you don't get something you want or get something you hate. you tell the person who gave you the gift thank you and you like it. i only got four things for x-mas this year and i don't think she is spoiled, just dissapointed that her parents didn't really pay attention to what she really wanted. i can understand that. that is why i only got four things, i chose the stuff i really wanted.
for the person who posted this question, i think you asked it the way you did because you feel guilty about maybe sounding spoiled, but i am sure if you talk to your parents and say you would like to return some of the stuff and get that pair of uggs instead, they should be more than willing. like taking back four of those A&F shirts should cover most of the cost for the uggs.

I'm so sick and tired of people acting like they're in some way entitled to be utterly showered with gifts on a day that millions of other people all around the world celebrate, often with better intentions and a bit more cheer. This isn't a day in which your family is obligated to praise and honor you by forking over every possible item on a wish list. This is a day to honor Christ's birth, not yours, so get a grip.
This is the season for giving - a time to appreciate others and put a smile on a face that isn't your own. Your parents obviously care for you a great deal, as it seems that you had several expensive items under your tree. Are you even aware how much real diamonds cost? Much less, a pure bred puppy?
It's funny because while I had a privileged upbringing, I never acted this way. I am a special education teacher just starting out in the field, which means I work endless hours for a relatively small salary. However, this is my first job after graduating college, so the greatest gift I got this Christmas was the ability to buy my family nice gifts that they would have never expected. Get a job and learn to give. If you're old enough to care for diamonds, you're old enough to flip burgers.
And I got brand new Uggs for Christmas. *sticks tongue out*
Merry Christmas to you anyhow.

If you don't appreciate it, then YES, you are very spoiled! But if you do, then you are not. You are disappointed in diamond earrings, abercrombie, AE, Ed Hardy, a new puppy, and a Northface vest? That's all really expensive and some designer stuff. I don't even have one pair of Uggs and you are complaining because you want another pair. Yes, you sound very spoiled. But if you are grateful for them then you are not! I hope I helped! :) ♥

it depends who you're comparing yourself to. to most of the population, definitely. to some, probably not. if you didnt get what you wanted, then you didnt get it. i understand that you're disappointed, but i feel like the rest would have made up for it.
look at my haul:
a coat, a bag, jewelry, a pair of really nice boots, and a new bottle of my go to perfume (its really good. chanel no. 19)
but i didnt get what i really wanted, which was this pair of earrings that was really gorgeous and cost as much as my bag (they were diamond, among other things, but they were also bulgari. i got a pair of elegant h. stern ones, but i wanted colors, not just gold thread and diamond). but its okay. because i got so much wonderful stuff.
try giving this xmas. food kitchens is a good start. wearing flashy things probably isnt (you can probably get away w/ expensive stuff, as long as its subtle tho, if thats all you have)
ps: its not really my place to say b/c i dont know where you live or how old you are, but uggs? come on. you can do so much better than those ugly things, which make your calves look fat and your feet like loaves of bread. what about nice shoe boots or knee-high suede ones? equestrian ones are also nice, but w/o the pain of high heels, and goes great w/ skinny jeans.

I believe you are a bit spoiled. There are so may children out there who would of liked to have gotten, even a pair of shoes. For Christmas i got a simple dress and a journal, and i was really happy with that.Next year you should tell your parents to invest in one thing you really want. I use to be spoiled, but i learned that you should appreciate what your parents can give you. Save money for your uggs, you ll feel accomplished if you buy them yourself, and it makes you take care of them even more.

Yeah you are reALly annoying and spoiled and you are just trying to show of the stuff you got and who cares if you didnt get new uggs, they probably look weird on your spoiled body anyway so why dont you spend some time thinking about the people who got only a couple things for christmas.

Ok, well, if u are very disappointed with ur gifts, think about those who didnt get anything. From the looks of it, u r kinda spoiled. but seriously, just remember how incredibly fortunate u r, and give to others.
