If you are in range of your neighbor's wifi, and they don't have it password protected, then yes, you can access their wifi.

Although it is technically illegal, you could do it if:
the ipod is within range, which may not extend very far past the house, depending on their router
and
if they did not password-protect their network. most people don't bother but a few people do just for that reason.
the above applies for PSPs and any other wifi internet device.

Yea...just go into starbucks or any place with a linksys or any other wifi connection and go to setting and click wifi and it will connect you once you choose a network...then go to safari.
