I really liked listening to my mother's Beatles records when I was little....of course, I am a too young to remember them when they were "the latest thing". I was quite shocked to discover in later life that my mother was more of a Stones fan...I know I have told this story before. Of the two, I think the Beatles would get my vote....although Queen have probably recorded more songs that I like than any other single group. Having said all of that, I don't actually listen to Queen very much.

Rolling Stones break no bones, though they perhaps do thesedays.
The Beatles are just aged old cockroaches.
Bowie - Spaceman
Bolan - Up a tree
Elton - Sat on a rocket
Glitter - Got Tinselitus & more
Sweet - Got sour
ZZ Top - Bad hygeine

Loved them all, plus many more.
