There was a WW2 movie that was out there that I would love to watch again, but it has been years. I only recall that it seemed to be a family in england or in the Europe region, and the kids go pick up schrapnel all the time, the daughter is dating a soldier and gets pregnant, the dad comes home with a unknown can of food, turns out to be Jam and the daughters boyfriend eats the Jam and pretends to choke on it like he was poisoned, I cannot remember much more specific details. I would appreciate any help.
Oh and there was a scene was a blimp was shot down and it crashes into the village and all the kids find it very fun!

Hope And Glory an English Film...starred the woman from the eagle has landed with Robert Duvall, and Donald Sutherland,Larry Hagman in it look on iMDb to find more info!!!
