i want to take out the back seat belts but in order to do that i need to take out the back seats how do i take it out (back seats) then be able to put it back again ?? any info would be great.
its a 1969 plymouth satellite

look for hidden bolts under the front edge of the seat.may have to run your hand along the front lower edge of the seat bottom to feel for them....if there are none,slide front seats forward,climb in back and use your knees to force seat bottom back to release tabs holding it in.the seat back probably has a couple bolts to remove and slide seat back straight up.......i had (years ago)a '68 dodge monaco with a 383...it was an awesome ride........good lck

You basically push down and backwards on the seat cushion (bottom) to release the seat from the the seat retaining brackets which are located under the seat at the front outer lower corners about 3-6 inches in from the edge. These brackets engage the seat frame slots or wire and hold it in place. Once you push down and backwards enough to clear these brackets from engaging, lift up on the seat cushion and remove. The seat back is usually held in place by bolts at the lower corners.
