I totally agree with you here. The politicians seem to have forgotten that they are the servants of the people, NOT the other way around. The majority of them are selfish, and corrupt, and greedy elitists. *sm*

If you actually follow the Bilderberg-case, then you should know that nowadays people are enough concious to know how to govern themselves, better then politicians to tell them what to do. Right?!
Politicians are good for nothing, maybe there are exceptions, but very rare...I agree with you my friend, they should see what can and must they do FOR the country, the citizens.

if politics is so bad then why do the politicians fight so hard to keep their seats in the white house.it;s because of what they can gain if they stay in power.like payoffs from the special interest groups.they go into office with nothing after awhile they come out a millionaire.gosh i wonder why this job is so hard on me.i need to run for another term i have to pay for my third home.

We would know they were lying about something
21st Century Politicians ask us to support the loyal men and women that have sacrificed so much.
Which is true The sacrifice will not be fully manifested for at least another 2 decades

Politicians want power. People who want to help others, choose other occupations, Even Kennedy, who you are quoting, said that is what we should do, not what he did. Fortunately for us many people do what is good for the country.

When they make the decision to run for office they should be asking the question 'what can I do for my country?' Once they get in office they should be asking themselves that question every day.

It should be mandatory. It's a service in office and a service to the country.
