I'm going back to the US in a month (in Iraq now) but I have been a few places.
I plan on going back to Thailand and this time taking the mainland on. I went to Phuket in October and it was fantastic. The people there are beautiful and far nicer than anywhere else I have been.
I spent seven months in Moscow, Russia in 1997/98 and it was great... but that was after "communism" and before Putin... and Putin makes Russia an unlikely place for an American to look at as a vacation spot.
I'm hoping that I enjoy my trip to Japan in June/July... but that trip is mostly for my kids.
