Go near to your wireless router (just put it next to the PSP so it'll be easier to do). Scan for your SSID, basically, the one with the most percentage of signal strength SSID is yours because you stand next to it. Check it, if it's a WEP and others WEPs, you will need to put a password. If it's a NONE, you don't need anything. For WEP, check below your wireless router box, there is a section that tells you the password. For that, turn the WLAN switch on, it's on the top right of the PSP, near the PSP UMD slot.

UPDATED: WLAN switch is like a button, you know that the UMD slot is the place where you put the UMD games, videos, and music right? Over the top of your PSP, there is a WLAN button, just turn it to the right and you're fine. No, if you want to scan for an access point, choose Infrastructure and press "Scan".

Make sure the WLAN switch at the TOP of your new is set to the ON Position.

Then go into settings, network settings, Wifi, click Scan, and your network should come up

yes you need to have a wireless network card in the computer, you sometimes need to explicetly tell the computer to use the wireless connections, if your wireless networks is secured you also need to put the so called wep signature (5 strings of unreadable characters or 1 longer string) on you pc .

Check that your WLAN switch is turned on before you do anything.

If your internet is password protected, then you need to get the password and put it in. Other then that idk.
