You are so on target! That's why so many older people take 25 prescriptions daily. Each med produces its own personal disaster which causes the person to take another med to combat the side effects of the previous one.
What a mess!

LOL. I actually had a patient who had what they call "Priapism" from some antidepressants he was taking and it was not fun at all for him. Not only was he humiliated enough by it but he was in ICU and in a tremendous amount of pain. I was quite embarassed as well, but I was a very young nurse and had never heard about it. Now I know what it is and all the jokes about it are funny, but not funny if it is you as it is VERY painful.

well seek medical help for an erection after i've had fun on it for about 3 hrs. and 55 min. THEN go get yourself some medical help....and then get an ice pack for me too!!!

Yes, I have noticed that certain side effects can be detrimental and if encountered should be seen to immediately...if not sooner. ;p

yeah like i was supposed to take something for an upset stomach but the side effects were nausea, vomiting, excessive diahrea, and dehydration. so i stuck with the stomach ache, that lasted about a week.

yes. some of the meds i take cause dizziness, drowsiness, headaches, clumsiness, etc. these are the things i'm taking them for. how can i tell when it's the illness or the medicine?
