We planted a live tree in our front year last year in memory of my dad so all I have to do is take off the decorations and it stays green all year long. We don't have enough room inside the house for a big tree so I just have some garland around the entertainment center with ornaments hanging on it. I might take it down tomorrow and pack it away for next year. Happy New Year!

My tree is a plastic replica with lights. Taking it down consists of unplugging it, folding it and stuffing it into a box. Thats what you call a cat safe tree. LOL!!!
