I had one with training wheels when I was like 7 or so...I was always too scared to go to the next level though (no training wheels). I'm now 15 and I just learned how to ride a bike without training wheels like 2 days ago. I just got on and practiced and yeah. I can't believe what I missed out on all these years! Now I'm addicted and always want to ride my bike! It is pretty easy and so much fun! I guess I was just too scared when I was little. So how about you?

I can't remember the first time I had a bike with training wheels....but I do remember that I learned to balance on two wheels when I was eleven years old....I turned eleven in May 1988, and I learned to ride in August of that year.
Edit: my brothers both learned when they were quite a lot younger....I thought 11 was quite old when I learned.

I was about 12 or 13. That is a scary thing to ride without your training wheels, I crashed a couple of times but then after that you just keep going

I was petrefied when I first began learning to ride a bike without any training wheels. Once I got the hang of it (I was about 8) I couldn't stop! Now I ride my bike all the time!
Oh, and good job conquoring your fear! It takes alot of strength to do that!

I had training wheels around 4 years old.
But by then, my friends were five and they
were already riding bikes without training wheel's
so I had learned how to not have training wheel's
around 4yrs old too.
I was also addicted but it got a bit tiring after a
while. & also I got real lazy. (:
Then... someone stole my bike.
So yea.
