I just can't believe how bad BBC1 has been today, I hate all of the programmes it has shown this evening.

Is someone really being paid to come up with:
Shrek2, Eastenders, Dr Who, Eastenders, Strictly Come Dancing.

Time to scrap the tv licence, its not value for money!

YES!!!!
Totally agree, it's same old, same old. You know the BBC are getting desperate when they put on two episodes of Eastenders to fill in some gaps...

I have not been too impressed with any of the "network" channels today....there was a decent programme called "Liverpool Nativity" which BBC showed very late at night a couple of weeks ago, then repeated quite late at night this Sunday just gone. That is what we are really celebrating at Christmas after all....

Channel 4 have devoted over two hours of peak viewing time to a programme called "The Hidden Jesus" or similar, which I have not watched, but I can't help thinking that many people in the UK have not heard about the "open" Jesus of the Bible yet, and have no idea that Christmas is about Him and not just about too much to eat and Santa Claus (who was invented by Coca-Cola in about 1940, I think!) Jesus was there before the world began and will be there after it ends, and is there for you and me any time we call on Him!

The Eastenders Christmas "they finally find out that he was having an affair with his son's wife" miseryfest was dire, but I was very happy with the Doctor Who special and Shrek 2, even though I've seen Shrek 2 before. How anyone can be dissatisfied with David Tennant and Kylie Minogue saving the world from the sinking of the starship Titanic is beyond me!

Finding Nemo was great fun and i loved Shrek, Eastenders in a way because they always have such a bloody awful time. Though i totally agree about the licence fee.

Trust me CBC TV8 Barbados - carol singers from the 1970's, church services, more carol singers, Arthur (the cartoon), Thats so Raven. Not a thing impressed today.

Last Xmas was just as mind numbingly boring then to top it off they put 5 films on New Years Day. Could they not put one decent film on! - Apparently Not.

Most of the telly has been dreadful.
Time to scrap the licence fee why should we pay to watch very few good shows, it's supposed to be pleasurable not punishment viewing.

I quite agree with you Christmas day on all the channels were poor with animated films etc.wheras the run up to Christmas was very good.It is all a question of Finance and spreading it out over the long Holiday period.

Yes it was rubbish, that's what we pay our license fees for. We watched a couple of DVDs: The Polar Express and The Lion the Witch and the wardrobe.

It hasn't been value for money for years. Dr Who is crap as is Eastenders. I got some DVDs to watch.
