If the overdraft is not major,and if it is the first time it happens, the bank could remove the overdraft fees as a one time courtesy and you would just need to pay the amount overdrawn. If the overdraft is pretty big and you cannot cover it at the moment, see if your bank can accept some type of payment arrangements. And in the meantime, either manage cash on your own or open a temporary checking account in another bank.

You have to subtract overdraft charges from your account balance, then it should balance.
