I think too many thoughts would be best for complex situations because the more you'd be able to rationalise as a person and you can also be able to deeper analyse these situations which require critical thinking. It may also be good in simple situations because you would be able to view them from different perspectives.

I think one thought is enough, because too many it's too confused, if you have one thought at the time, that's mean you are concentrated in what you are doing and you know what do you want, your mind will be more clear and you will do everything better and faster.

The aim is for the quietend mind and a beautiful golden silence, relished only by those bereft of it for any length of time

Insufficient thoughts usually denotes boredom, a lack of inspiration. a stifling stillness

Too many thoughts leading to mental unrest, agitation, torment, unless they are wondrous thoughts whereby they would not be considered excessive.

Well, it has to be somewhere in the middle where you can use your many thoughts to convey something meaningful. I wouldn't want to have too many thoughts and not be able to express it, nor would I want to always be drawing a blank.

Hmmm, people who don't think enough tend to be quite vacant people, people who think too much tend to over-analyse things and complicate matters. A fine strike between the both would be perfect
