no sound on my laptop toshiba as40?

I cant seem to able to get sound on my laptop..device drivers shows all working...still no sound...whats up here?

If not on mute, click Start, click Run, type msconfig, ok. Select Sound tab. If device and driver details are there, test for sound. If no sound comes out, something could be wrong with the Sound card output. If device and driver details are not there, just install the driver.
