I have a vegetarian friend who eats a hamburger once a year, on Christmas.

Well, we do it twice, but hopefully this will count anyway. Instead of mashed potatoes or yams, we have french fries with our holiday dinner (Thanksgiving and Christmas)! When my parents got married 40 years ago on Dec. 22, my mom asked my dad what kind of potatoes he wanted with his Christmas dinner. He *hates* potatoes but loves fries, so he said, "French fries!" My mom has made them ever since. My sister and I both have our own families now, but we both follow the tradition. It's weird but they taste good and we love knowing we're keeping something alive that is now 40 years old...

Kinda. Every Christmas eve/Christmas morning at 3:30 am everyone in the house gets up and we find a cartoon that we all like and watch it. Usually till 4 and then go back to bed till 7-8 when we'd get up and open presents. lol It does sound weird doesn't it? lol Merry Christmas!

Here are 3 for you! I watch Christmas Carol (the George C.Scott version) which i have on a dusty old VHS tape. I always dig it out and watch it around 15th to 20th December otherwise it just wouldn't be Christmas. I also play an old WWF nintendo game that i got in 1993 because it reminds me of happy days.
I had a friend once who had to always sneak out his house, touch the car and get back to bed without anyone noticing on xmas eve.
