In my day it meant you were going to get into a fight.Its a challenge to duel,to debate,fight.To openly Have a confutation to embarrass the other person.

I heard it i think it was some dance movie some bring it on movie. When they "call you out" they want you to dance against them as a dance off. lol

It means to expose somebody. If we were to be somewhere and I told everybody that you had a crush on Tom, I would be calling you out.

it means like you call someone out...like you catch them for playing a trick or something silly...

like if i saw you trip and no one else saw..i could call you out on it and then everyone would know lol
