if you could maybe follow up this critisism with advice on my catch 22,
i cant get a quote on stock and equipment because i need to be up and trading to have an account with the wholesalers. which i cant do.

try the local business link. some councils have business development services and the local trading standards may know of these. in the UK you, or whoever is running the cafe directly will need a food hygiene certificate. Evwen the basic one day training should give you some idea

If you can't make a list of needed equipment and find the costs, frankly there's no way you should even be thinking of starting the business - things like this are WAY easier than actually getting it up and running.
