This would be for a 3-6 month old boy. I will be breastfeeding if that makes a difference.

It depends on their stage and how many diaper changes you have to do a day. You have to change a newborn more often than a 12 month old. It can be anywhere from $50 to $100 depending on the brands you prefer. I usually look for sales because I prefer the better brands and try to stay as close to $50 as I can.

How much you pay for diapers and wipes on a monthly basis will depend on what brands you're buying and from where. If you get these Pampers diapers, than probably around $60 with wipes: http://www.amazon.com/Pampers-Economy/dp/B00DFFT9SQ/?ie=UTF8&tag=411911-20

These are one of the best rated diapers

It also depends on how many times you're going to have to change your baby. Not all 3-6 month babies go the same amount of times.

Here are some common times for changing diapers:
- Right before or right after every feeding
- After every bowel movement
- Before bedtime
- When your baby wakes up
- When you go out with your baby

As they get older, they go less frequently so you will start to spend less.. on diapers and wipes that is. There will be other expenses as they get older and learn how to talk and beg. Fun times.

My daughter is 5 1/2 months. She usually goes through about 6-8 a day. So I use about 245 a month. I buy 2 big boxes that have 184 diapers in them a month and pay about 36 dollars each. So I pay about $72 on diapers. I buy the big boxes of refill wipes and buy about 2 a month and they each cost about 7 each. So I spend about $14 on wipes. So in a average month I spend $72 on diapers and $14 on wipes.

We usually spend around 30-40 a month on diapers and wipes. We do buy cheaply though, using Parents Choice diapers and Equate baby wipes. Roughly our son goes through two boxes of diapers and one bag of wipes a month. The wipes get used for cleanups after he has eaten (solids) and for any other mess that he gets into as well.

About $40. I buy both at Costco. A case of Huggies is about $38 and lasts about a month. Kirkland wipes are about $13/case and last for about 6 months.

A good source for you to check out for diapers is Amazon.com. If you set up autoshipment of Huggies you get 20% off, plus free delivery and no sales tax.

My son uses size three pampers cruisers, we spend about $60 in diapers a month, and maybe $20 in wipes, so probably around $80 a month. Hope this helps. P.S....I found when we had our son that buying diapers isn't as big a deal as people make it out to be...I don't feel like we spend tons of money on them. Congrats on your baby!

I buy the Pampers swaddlers big pack (not the box) I buy 2 a month and then 2 refill wipes I buy the Newborn Sensitive Parents choice about 5.00 each. Plus I always have coupons for the Pampers Swaddlers for 2.00 off so that means they are 18.00. So I would say 46.00 dollars and he's 2 mths. I also have another in diapers who uses Parents Choice I buy her the box 13.00 once a month. (she uses parent's choice becuz thats the only brand that won't give her an allergic reaction.)

hmmm, let me think back to when i was buying those for my 17 month old boy, he still wears diapers and as of now we are spending about $40 a month on pampers cruisers, and the diaper wipes usually last about a month so thats only like $2 so about $40-$45 a month and thats for a 17 month old. when he was 3-6 months i would spend about $30 on pampers swaddlers for the big box of about 140 diapers. and that usually lasted me about a month, depending on how many times he went poop. so i guess i spend more now then i did then.
