It's strictly a movie script, not a book (though they'll probably put out a paperback edition if the movie is popular enough.)

I think you mean Cloverfield instead of Cloverdale...
But for "I Am Legend", yes, it's a vampire novel by Richard Matheson set in the 70s. I have yet to see the movie, but from the previews I can tell you that the book is very different from the movie

The movie is based on the 1954 science fiction novel of the same name by Richard Matheson. It has been made into a movie 3 times.
The first movie was the 1964 movie "The Last Man on Earth" with Vincent Price in the lead role. Charlton Heston acted in the 1971 version, "The Omega Man". However this version removes the vampirism features of the book. Will Smith's version is the third.
