ask your parents if you can do your chores and get paid for it or just sell some of your old stuff you don't like anymore in a yard sale or something.

Since you are only 15, one thing you have to be made aware of are the strict Child Labor Laws.

There are certain jobs you can't do, not because you don't have the ability, but because of the job requirements.

You could get a job at McDonalds, but the only thing you can do is register.

You could make a killing babysitting on New Year's Eve. You can charge like $6 to $7 an hour per child, and I would charge $10 per hour per child each hour past midnight. And believe me people will pay it. Especially if you are responsible.

Use the tools you have, networking is an amazing tool in this day and age. I promise you that you know someone whether they are relation, family friend, sibling...There is someone you know that you can talk to to get a job with. You just have to work hard when you are that young to find someone who trusts and knows that you will do a good job for them. Once you build up your credibility as a worker than you can start being selective in which job you want,

Okay- So your on a jobhunt-

First thing you need to do- is to compose a RESUME.

Nothing fancy - just a simple design would do.
When you write your headliner- make sure that you stick to the facts pertaining to your qualifications.

So- Now you got a resume- No post it- there a numerous places to post your resume-
Like for example- on CRAIGSLIST.ORG
or Monster.com- or even some companies will let you post your resume directly on the HR's page too.

Now you can also post your resume on SF bay listings .com-
and even in the Pennysaver.com.

And this will later bring companies who are looking for you-
you will have a wave of callers!

Good luck.
Merry Christmas.

Sitting with children is a great way to make money. go to your local Red Cross and take a course on child care. Post sign on the bulletin board at a church, letting ppl. know that you are available. Good luck !

Go apply at all the restaurants and grocery stores in your town....one of them might hire you.

Babysitters are usually chosen by word-of-mouth recommendations. Find a friend or relative to babysit for, and ask them to tell others you are available.

Good luck.

Ask your parents first but... try going out to some stores like Old Navy or Target or something to see what their policies are on workers and the appropriate age... check it out! Good luck!

Also, if you have some reject Christmas gifts, you can go to Ebay and sell 'em!
