Why do people automatically think celebrities are the smartest people on the planet? Just because they got a lucky break and are on TV constantly?
Give me a break. Just because they're good at the movies doesn't mean they would be good politicians..which in itself is an oxymoron!

Tom Hanks is an actor. A very fine actor. He has no experience or specific knowledge that would make him a candidate for president.

That was the problem with Reagan - I never knew if he was a good president, or was just ACTING like a good president.
Did that man ever have the slightest idea what he was doing? We'll never know, I'm afraid.
