looking for a good buy on a ps3 game since im getting my first PS3 system on boxing day (hopefully) Any ideas would be nice.

A game to get when you first buy your PS3 is Resistance Fall of Man. Don't even bother with Call of Duty 4 first or any other multiplatform games, you can get those later. PS3 exclusives show what the PS3 is truly capable of. A PS3 exclusive like Resistance or any PS3 exclusive should be a game that you should buy first.
I also recommend Uncharted Drakes Fortune. It doesn't have online gameplay, but the main story mode is a 10-12 hour game and to beat the game 100% you have to beat the game multiple times and this game will give you a challenge as well, especially on the Harder modes.

warhawk omg! get warkhawk, you need to! it is simply amazing. you only play on-line against people, and you can chose to fly a warhark, drive a tank, a car, run about as your character blasting peope or deffend your base by sitting in a turret! the more people you kill the more points you get.. the more points you get the higher your rank.. the highter your rank the more cusmoizations you unlock!! many game modes so you wont get board. and you know the best thing, it only cost 20quid to download!! you'v gota get it!! its simply the best game out for the ps3

uncharted: drakes fortune, then maybe COd4
look out for haze in january next year and many other ps3 exclusives, should be a great year for the ps3.

this is a hard question because we dont know what type of games you like if u were me (i like shooters,flight,sports) i would choose cod4, not resistance because its too fake, madden 08,blazing angels 1-2,medal of honor airbore needs work but good game,and get lost:the game and grand theft auto IV when they come out in febuary

definately warhawk. i heard resistance fall of man is awesome, and mgs 4 and killzone 2 is gonna be graet.
