1) combine the x's and constants and ditribute to get:
-9x-4<6-8x
2) then add 4 to both sides, and add 8x to both side to get:
-x<10
3) divide by -1 and switch the inequality sign because when you divide by a negative # you have to switch the sign and you get your answer:
x>-10

4x + 3 - 13x - 7 < 2(3 - 4x)
- 9x - 4 < 6 - 8x
- 10 < x
x > - 10
