my heater in the wall makes the sound of flowing water. its been days and its still making that flowing water sound, it didn't use to do like that before.

I am guessing it is hydronic (uses hot water from a boiler). If so there is probably air in the system and it needs to be bled out. It probably is not working as well as normal either if this is the problem.

If it is gas or electric you better call a professional because that would be very strange.

what kind is it ? water heat or gas, electric ?
