Do you think that the pelvic exam that the gynecologist does, could brake the hymen?? or even stretch it??

A pelvic exam should not damage the hymen, but it is possible. Ask the doctor to use a small speculum if you are nervous. Most importantly, you need to relax. If you are tense, it can make the exam painful. Good luck...and whatever you do, please completely ignore the first answer. You are NOT put under for a pelvic exam.

Yes, it could. It could also be done in such a way that there is no damage done - depends on the practitioner, patient and hymen.

Hymens break very easily and it really does not matter if it is broken by the OB/GYN, you could easily do that in other activities.

umm i think they put you to sleep with your pants off so they can examen it and if somthings wrong they brake it then fix it ! so ive been told
