I sold used video games on ebay during aug-nov of last year and business went quite well. i finally have some money to buy more inventory but im a little hesitant to because it is now after the holidays and im not to familiar with the ebay market to know if i should be buying stock this early. How well does ebay do in the post holiday season? (especially in the video game area)

Thanks,
Simon

There is usually an upswing in selling right after Christmas and New Year's weekend. People are given gift certificates or money and it's burning a hole in their pocket. They have time off from work and have to time to shop online.

I've found the week after Christmas to be a good one. And there are always people just shopping for themselves no matter what time of year it is. I made two sales today!

In the years I've been on eBay, sales on items are the best for the 3 months or so right after Christmas.

If you go to ebay and look up auctions by seller rcl_1979, he has a pdf file telling you how to make money on ebay and I bought it and i made 4000 my first month just following the steps. ill list the item no i bought but you will have to look at his other items because im sure that its an expired auction.

just type this item number in the search box and the auction will come up
