What Democracy and Freedoms are Our and American Brave Military Personnel fighting for in Iraq and Afghanistan

Bearing in mind that the First Duty of any Government is to it's People.

When at Home there is Political Corruption with Powerfull organisations that have never been elected and are not answerable to the People.

P.C. Police, Underground Minority Pressure Groups (I do not necessarily mean Racial). Private Banking Organisations supported openly by Government, harassment of the individual without recourse to Law.

Erosion of Personal Freedoms and Curtailment of Freedom of Speech.

The allowance of Criminal Practices without proper Justice in the name of Expediency.

God Bless all of our Brave and Selfless Military Personel and my hopes are for their safety.

I wonder if they will be brought home to Police against any possible popular civil disobedience, especially as the Great British Police have been roundly ''shafted'' by Government, and indeed all of our Emergency and Front Line Services too.

Whilst the snouts of the so called ''Betters'' are firmly in the trough.

Never did I refer to Al Qheada nor Terrorism, never did I mention 911.

Sadam Hussain was never involved in that Terror, indeed by his actions he held back that Terror (probably by default alone).

The Thrust of my Question was Political Misdeeds at Home, covered by Unelected Organisations eroding our Freedoms; and judging by the many Questions from the States there is Corruption and similar there.

I looked to see if there were similar questions before I posted mine, indeed there were none.

I congratulate you on your survival.

My Father fought a particularly vile war against Japan for Freedom, he also became a diligent and Honest Policeman.

He was horrified at the way the British Society was going and said that he wished to be reborn as a Criminal or a Politician.

If he has had his wish, he will now be training as one or the other.

I believe they are doing just what they are . They are warriors,told to do a job.You don't ask why, you don't ask where,you just do it to the best of your ability. In a way they the soldiers have the advantage, THEY CAN SEE THEIR ENEMY, While here at home, Every American,( I'm not talking about all those that have recently established their home here,) have a disadvantage. How to fight, something that is claiming to be right, for example, the media. T.V., newspapers. People can't see what's right for fear of being called a raciest, or an assult weapon, milita group, or warmonger extremist. Nor do we have any choice as to who we want to vote for. What can the average American do? When the media Supports the wrong (ITS CHOICE) party. I'm not saying the party is wrong, just the people they offer for our vote. Why can't either party find someone who will try to be elected for his drive to do what is right for America?Someone who will tell Aclu, Gays&Lizzys, and special intrest groups to go to Hell,because I'm bringing this country back to the Nation it is supposed to be.

i love the repeat posts. ive already answered this question about a dozen times. as a survivor of 911 in manhattan, i find it particularly insulting that you either dont understand or comprehend the real and deadly threat of al qaeda. what were fighting for is the safety of our borders and our way of life. its a simple situation really, al qaeda wants you dead. they dont care how or where and its either there or here. by the way, you might thank one of those dead soldiers you dont understand for your continued right here to display and incredible amount of naivete here in english rather than a foriegn language.
