My name is Dani, and my husband Chris and I have been married for 10 years and have 8 beautiful children and I am expecting one more. We are trying to think of names for our soon to be daughter. All of our childrens names are irish. We have Conor who is 10, Sean and Aaron who are 8, Courtney who is 7, Maeve and Kayleigh who are 5, Bradin who is 3, and Chloe who is 13 months. Some names we have been thinking of are Shannon and the middle name Claire, Clodagh an dthe middle name Lee, and Eva with the middle name Noel. What do you think of those names for our almost newborn baby. She is due anytimes now, doctors think that I am going to have in a day or 2.

I also know a little girl with the name Brogan Shay Ilene. At first when I heard the name I wasn't quite sure I like it...But watching her bounce around it fit's her very well. And is really adorable for a little girl..........

It also goes well with all the other childrens names!
My Brothers ans sisters all have irish names I do not because I was named after my Auntie!

Hi, I love Irish names too, but Chloe is Greek, Aaron Hebrew, and Bradin, Courtney and Kayleigh are English! Eva is a French form of the Hebrew Eve.
Never mind...
Clodagh is really nice. I'm not fond of Shannon and it is also used for boys. Noel is a boys name too.

Clodagh Lee and Eva Noel are the prettiest combinations. However, I think (if I'm pronouncing it right lol), Clodagh sounds way too similar to Chloe, especially if you call her Clo as a pet name. Eva is gorgeous though, and I think it would fit very well with the rest of your kids.
Shannon is too popular though, but what about Shannah as an alternative? I really like the middle name Lee as well (I think it's pretty underrated as far as middle names go), so what about Shannah Lee or Eva Lee?
Other Irish names I can think of (and would match up with her siblings) are: Ailene, Fiona/Fionnula (my current favorite Irish name; the nickname Finn would be great), Saoirse (might be too Irish though lol, a lot of people can't pronounce this), Catriona/Katerina (Kit, Cat, etc), Annabel, Ainsley (I'm pretty sure this is unisex), Eilis (Ellie), Eleanor/Elinor, Eliza, Elan, Teagan, Darcy, etc.
lol sorry for that mess up there, I just typed as I thought of them. Fionnula/Fiona Eve or Fionnula Lee would be just as pretty as Eva Lee or even Shannah Lee, if you want to think about it.

WOW!!! 8 soon to be 9!!! Hands down to you, you must have lots of patience, I have 2 and they sometimes drive me nuts!!!
You gotta love em though, I couldn't live without my babies.
I really like all the names you have there. Shannon Claire is very pretty. That would be my choice out of the three you have.

Im irish too and some names in my family are Claire, Kalen(kaylynn) but its spelled Kalen, Bailey, Eva and Leland. My middle name is Leland and I totaly love it t is Very pretty good luck my faves are the ones listed above.

Shannon Claire is a beautfiful name. I would pick this one.
Eva Noel would be my second choice, but no comparison to Shannon Claire.
Clodagh Lee is my least fav, its okay.

and also Eva is my first name it awsome.
My name is Eva Leilani (leilani means heavenly flower in hawaiian)
well i like the name Eva Noel, but i like Rory Noelle more.
I'm not so falling in love with Shannon b/c it is sooo common
