If I was being told that I took an illegal drug, and I really didn't, I would have went in front of the natioal TV audience and denied it the first day the reports came out.

Oh I wouldn't think that Roger Clemens took steroids. I think is that there is an acusse about baseball players the steroids. Barry Bonds pleaded not guilty so why would Roger Clemens take steroids. Roger Clemens is a great, nice man and plays well.

There is no proof. It's a verbal accusation. Even if he did, so what does that mean-he could throw 95 instead of 94 mph ?

What hasn't been announced because the liberal news media wants sensationalism is a Federal Grand Jury cannot indict without HARD PHYSICAL evidence. It's all verbal.

I'm a long time Tiger fan, always admired Clemens.

And if I was once a guaranteed Hall of Famer and I was accused of taking drugs that I really DID take, I would also go on National TV and claim that I did not take them. Of course, in this scenario I would be a jerk that cheated in the first place so I would definitely not mind going on TV and lying to the nation which is what Roger is doing.

Anyways, yes, I do think he took steroids.

Yes because pitchers are the first to lose arm strength and Clemens didn't lost any mustard at all. You see guys like Glavine around but they don't have any speed at all. You look at Roger and he is still throw mid 90s.

No doubt about it. He left Boston when they thought he was washed up and goes to Toronto, meets up with McNamee and all of sudden he's at his all-time best. Seems a little to story-book ending for Roger. I don't understand the need for these celebrity athletes that are so afraid to answer for themselves if and when they have nothing to hide. Usually in society you let someone else speak for you if you are afraid you are going to say too much. He took a little too long to speak out on his own for me.

If you read the report there is no evidence that he took drugs.
His body type does not look like he is improving his muscles. Unlike the ones you know are using by looking at their size and growth after middle age.
He denies it completely, when some others are silent or admit to using.

No, I really think he achieved a 1.87 ERA at age 42 WITHOUT the aid of steroids! :)

Kidding... of course, he did. Just look at his photos from his earlier days. It's no less obvious than Bonds!!!
