I'm thirteen and I'm buying 300 the film tomorrow. Is it appropriate for me because I know there is nudity but how severe is it. Is the sexuality really bad (Describe) and is the violence any good? Need Answers SOON!

You're such a good kid to even care! B/c of your clear maturity, I think you can handle the content of this film. Besides, the overall story and display of bravery and pride far outweigh the other stuff. Focus on the history of the Spartans. Wikipedia them and read on the history first. It's a VERY good story. ENJOY!

I have never believed that pictures of naked people, or even a good sex scene was harmful even to a kid, provided the kid understands that this is a movie, the sex is there to sell the movie, and it is not to be taken as an example of what to do in real life. If you are able to understand that principle, it won't hurt you to see it. As for the violence, it does, indeed, affect your mood and temperament, and your attitude about doing and receiving violence. It is difficult, even for adults, to separate the effects of movie violence from real life attitudes, because we humans are very much affected by vicarious violence, and many of us do not realize it. The movie's effect on you will depend on how you handle the feelings the movie will cause in you.

No wonder America is on a downward spiral. We have people that lack common sense. We have a rating system in the U.S. for a reason. Up until now I thought it to be idiot proof, but apparently I was wrong. R means it is not appropriate for a 13 year old. PG-13 is supposedly appropriate, but I would still preview it before allowing someone in my care to view it. So no directly answer your question, NO 300 is not appropriate for a 13yr old.

it's a good movie...the nudity is only for like 2 minutes, but the gore/violence is nonstop throughout the movie. It's Rated R for a reason, so it's up to you. Maybe ask your parents.

I'm 13 and I saw it. You will have to fastforward about 2 scences, but only one is hardcore about 15 seconds, you only see her breasts. The rest of the movie is great and spectacular and I enjoyed it a lot. Th blood looks fake, but cool at the same time.

Depends on how well he can handle intense battles, blood, and rough sex. If he cant get ready to spend the next five years paying for therapy.

i wouldn't let a year old watch the movie. there are movie ratings for a reason you are 13 so you should only watch pg 13 movies and lesser, not R rated movies until you are old enough.
